We thought we'd lost them.
Back in April, the only UK supplier of the ceramic cups used for our Coffee Cup Candles went into administration. Suddenly, the future of one of our bestselling collections was completely uncertain.
We could have found another cup.
But after years of becoming part of your morning coffees, slow Sundays, gifts, refills and everyday rituals, replacing it with something else just didn't feel right.
So instead, we went back to where it all began.
We travelled to Portugal and worked directly with Costa Nova — the makers of the ceramic cups you've loved for years — to find a way to bring the collection back.
It wasn't the quickest route, and it definitely wasn't the easiest. But it meant we could bring back the Coffee Cup Candle exactly as you know it.
